Along A Melody

Along a melody –to the solidity of space. Annexed, so selfishly, to such a beautiful face. Hostility traced to a world beyond this place. Beyond a pinch of shame, there’s nothing here but grace.
The rain is ever falling, at times freezing to snow. Though the shower won’t cease, the sun still shines. In the skies, there was breathed a rainbow.
Wait, don’t go. Should you say. Did you know? –That anything is better than to be alone. Almost.
Chose to stand in the rain. The world is cold and gray, but sometimes I like it that way. The tears we cry are water for growth. So I don’t mind much, a pain; it’s how I know I’m alive. And besides, it goes away when you look in my eyes.
